Abstract

The article is devoted to health protection in the modern state. To this end, it analyzes
selected international agreements in terms of the sources of the right to health care, which is inextricably
linked to human dignity. The article also examines and compares data contained in reports
assessing health care in various countries around the world. Based on the results presented in
these reports, conclusions are made about the characteristics that should characterize health care in
a modern country.
