Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The application file is saved in the OpenOffice, Microsoft Word or RTF format.
  • The submission has not yet been published, nor has it been sent to another journal (or see the Editor's Comments section for a suitable explanation).
  • The text is written with single spaces, 12 point font, italics instead of underscores (URLs excluded); illustrations, charts and tables have been pasted in the right places.
  • The article is prepared in accordance with the rules set out in the Author's Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. The editors accept previously unpublished scientific texts in the field of law, history and political sciences and system.
  2. The editors do not return unsolicited texts.
  3. Texts for publication in the Discourse should be submitted by registering on the journal's website in the Text Submission tab.
  4. Manner of sending the thesis: the texts should be sent in a text file in the .doc, .docx, .rtf or .odt format.
  5. Sending the text to the editor of the journal is tantamount to:
    a) his statement that he has the proprietary rights to this text, that the text is free from legal defects and that it has not been previously published in whole or in part, or has not been submitted to another letters, as well as
    b) granting free permission to publish a text in the journal Dyskurs Prawniczy i Administracyjny (The Discourse of Law and Administration) and its unlimited distribution in terms of time and territory, including the marketing of copies of the magazine and paid copies free of charge on the Internet.
  6. Volume: the article should contain up to 40,000 characters, including proper text, footnotes, tables and graphs and footnotes; Review should contain up to 15,000 characters; opinions, votes should contain up to 20,000 characters; the report and notes should contain a maximum of 10,000 characters.
  7. Formal requirements of the text: Times New Roman 12 font, 1.5 line spacing, footnotes Times New Roman 10 font, line spacing.
  8. In order to enable double-blind review, all data of authors and reviewers, or other elements that may help to identify them, must be absolutely removed from the submitted files.
  9. It is also necessary to provide the text with the exact correspondence address and e-mail address as well as information about the author, which should include: academic degree / title, position held, place of work, e-mail address and ORCID ID: https: // orcid .org / XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. 
  10. The following should be placed before the text:
    a) summaries in Polish and English (up to 800 words)
    b) keywords in Polish and English (up to 5 words). However, below the text should be placed:
    c) a bibliography.

    The bibliography at the end of the reported text includes the literature from the footnotes. In case the  text is a review or a report, summaries and keywords are not required.
  11. The publisher reserves the right to make editorial corrections in the texts.
  12. The author is obliged to make an author's correction within 14 days from the date of its receipt. Failure to make a correction within this period means the Author's consent to issue the text in the form sent for correction.
  13. The author does not receive the author's fee for articles.
  14. Detailed rules for authors are available on the website of the Publishing House of the University of Zielona Góra (http://www.ow.uz.zgora.pl/instrukcja/ The journal uses the traditional notation of references (footnotes).

Information clause regarding the collection of personal data of the authors and reviewers of the scientific journal "Discourse Legal and Administrative"

 

Pursuant to Art. 13 sec. 1 and 2 and art. 14 sec. 1 and 2 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC [GDPR], we would like to inform you that:

  1. The administrator of the authors 'and reviewers' personal data is the University of Zielona Góra, 65-417 Zielona Góra, ul. Licealna 9; REGON 977924147; tel. 683282000, fax: 683270735; www.uz.zgora.pl.
  2. The administrator has appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted regarding the protection of your personal data by e-mail: IOD@adm.uz.zgora.pl or by phone: 603 474 724.
  3. Your personal data is processed in order to perform the tasks of reviewing scientific articles, publishing scientific articles, publishing and disseminating them, contacting authors, reviewers, sending newsletters, e-mails informing e.g. about the publication of a new issue of a journal, registering DOI numbers for articles .
  4. Your personal data, such as: name and surname, telephone number, e-mail number are processed on the basis of art. 6 sec. 1 lit. a (consent of the person).
  5. The recipients of your data are authorized employees of the University and other entities to which the Administrator entrusted personal data.
  6. Your personal data will not be transferred to third countries or international organizations.
  7. Your personal data will be processed on the basis of legal provisions, for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of processing.
  8. You have the right to:
    a) access to your data and receive a copy of it;
    b) rectify (correct) your personal data;
    c) restrictions on the processing of personal data;
    d) deletion of personal data;
    e) file a complaint to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (to the address of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).
  9. If the processing is based on Article 6 (1) lit. a or Article 9 (2) (a) of the GDPR (consent of the person), you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. The declaration of withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data requires its submission in writing to the Administrator's address or electronically to the following e-mail address: IOD@adm.uz.zgora.pl.
  10. Your data will not be processed in an automated manner, including in the form of profiling.
